Student progress monitoring
Philosophy
At the Ski Bromont Ski School, our main objective is for every child to improve to his full potential during a season spent with us. That is why we do everything in our power to offer your children a customized program, which will allow them to develop their skiing or snowboarding skills and help them progress at their own rhythm.

With the aim of favouring the individual development of your children, a rigorous student progress monitoring system was put together in recent years. The team in charge will be on site throughout the eight-week to make sure of the good progress of this process. You will have the possibility of meeting and talking with them either on site or at parents' meetings.

The beginning, middle and end of the eight-week program are key phases in our student progress monitoring process.
At the beginning (Week 1 or 2): our team will be on site to make group changes to make sure that the groups are homogeneous and functional as early as possible.
Environment (Week 3 or 4): our team will be on site to guide instructors in their teaching method and to make sure that every student develops according to his/her own potential.
At the end (Week 6 or 7): our team will be on site to guide instructors and help them draw their reports with regard to the progress of their students. You will receive a report of this progress monitoring step during week 8.

Ticket counter
To ensure the good functioning of the group programs and a punctual departure, we recommend that you purchase your ticket from the ticket counter at least 30 minutes before the beginning of your child's class.

First week of group programs
- Arrive at Ski Bromont at least 45 minutes before the beginning of your child's lesson.
- A person in charge of welcoming students will be on site, at the drop-off and in the P1 parking lot, to inform you and steer you in the right direction.
- As soon as you arrive, find out from this person your child's meeting point and the name of his/her instructor.
- If needed, go to the ticket counter to get your child's lift ticket.
- Go to the meeting point (in front your child's group number, at the base of Mont Soleil, which was given to you by the person in charge of welcoming students) 15 minutes prior to the departure of your child's group.

Beginning of classes
From your requests in recent years, the lessons of the eight-week programs begin exactly on time (according to the big clock situated on the main chalet), even if a student is missing. We thus suggest that your child arrives at the meeting point, ready to ski, 10 minutes before the beginning of the lesson.

Late student
A system was set up to allow your child to return to his/her group as fast as possible in case you arrive after his/her group's departure. If this happens, we ask that you go see the person under the sign “Looking for your group?” situated on the main plateau, in front of the milk bar. Next to the Ski School meeting point, a person will be there will be there during the following the departure groups of 8:30 am, 8:45 am, 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 am, 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm to help you.

Since your child was not there at the time of departure, his/her instructor will go by the meeting point after the group's first descent. If you are under the sign “Looking for your group?” before your child's instructor goes by, he/she will then be able to return to his/her group. On the other hand, if the instructor has already gone by the meeting point before your arrival, it then becomes your responsibility to find your child's group.
