Ski Bromont Immobilier has adopted a policy of responsible deforestation since the early stages of the Côte Est Project. We minimize tree cutting and adapt our construction approach accordingly.  At some sites, the most at-risk trees have been protected individually.

Sediment barriers have been installed to prevent the migration of soil particles, while the permanent pools will capture coarse particles. In addition, seeding will be undertaken as the project progresses.

The Côte Est Project is located on a 64-acre site, bordered by two conservation areas. The mission of these areas is to conserve the biodiversity of flora and fauna.

Environmental assessments of the natural features, as well as layout recommendations, have been issued for each of the lots.
